Great place to stay for a trip to Minden. Fairly clean hotel and well-appointed rooms. Good choice of goodies for breakfast. Comfortable beds, gorgeous and great location by nature. Based just next door to lovely downtown area, Huffman House B&B and beautiful Minden.

The hotel was good old and relaxing, enjoyed garden view from our a double room. We got a room with bathtubs. The location was convenient and gorgeous for exploring this beautiful old area, not far from lovely downtown area, nature and Minden. Also, getting to Minden Historic District was easy and took only 10 minutes on foot.

I had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The beautiful, quaint home was perfectly upgraded and decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere. My room was extremely large with a very comfortable king-size bed that was tastefully decorated. The location was perfect for me as it allowed for easy walking to the downtown area as well as through the beautiful old neighborhood. The staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent local information. The property itself was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, with excellent amenities. The breakfast choices were mouth-watering and the homemade jams made from their garden were a special treat.

The room was comfy, also it had smoke detectors. This was a pleasant and great location so close to Minden and Shreveport and lovely downtown area...

I had a fantastic stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the downtown area and the beautiful old neighborhood on foot. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and the room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious layout and a cozy king-size bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and providing excellent local information. The breakfast choices were absolutely mouth-watering and I thoroughly enjoyed indulging in them.

The shower had a great shower head with endless hot water, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were conveniently dispensed using a cool "pump" system. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable, adding a personal touch to the stay. The breakfast options were delicious, with fresh eggs from their farm and homemade jams. Despite the historic setting, the B&B had all the modern conveniences one would expect, making it a perfect home away from home. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This bed and breakfast is a hidden gem with a perfect location for exploring the downtown area and old neighborhood. The hosts are incredibly helpful and provide excellent local information. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with amenities such as a large desk, hot showers with a unique "pump" system for body wash and shampoo, and a mini fridge. The breakfast options are mouth-watering, especially the Belgian waffle with pralines and pecans.

One aspect that may not suit everyone is that the owners actually live in the house with their college-age daughter, which may give it more of a hostel/boarding house feel rather than a romantic getaway.

We had an amazing time at this BnB! The room was spacious and the king-size bed was super comfortable. The homemade breakfast options were delicious, especially the blueberry pancakes! The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby state parks, and we loved being able to walk to the downtown area. the cleanliness, facilities, parking, location, breakfast, and staff were all top-notch.

Over Christmas, my family and I had a fantastic time at this cozy . the hospitality of the hosts made us feel welcome and at home. We especially appreciated the tasty complementary breakfast options that were available. the location of the B&B was perfect as it allowed us to easily access the nearby downtown area and other surrounding attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was the comfortable bedroom that we slept in. It was a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.

The lack of a mirror in the bedroom. This made it difficult for any of us who needed to apply makeup or get ready while someone else was using the bathroom.

I really got my money's worth at Huffman House! The room was incredibly comfortable and I loved the modern decor. The location was perfect for exploring the downtown area and the beautiful neighborhood. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home.

The breakfast could have been better with a few more options.
